These children from Atule’er village in China put their lives in danger every day when they are going to school. To get there, they have to climb up the side of a mountain on a vertical ladder that is unsafely attached to the steep cliff.

  1. I can’t imagine sending my child off to climb a mountain to get to school. You’re right about showing this to kids who complain about going to school! Kids today in the U.S. take a lot for granted.

  2. Gosh that’s incredible! I’m so sorry that even under such terrible danger their authorities cant fund a school and teacher in their village. Imagine if that happened here? What can we do to help?
