These are wonderful photographs – sad, beautiful – poignant. I remember the Flat Iron bldg. The vendors on the street, licking ice in the summer…(b.1932 in NYC) Sometime I despair at our human-ness and pray for our humanity and compassion, but every now and then we connect with moments, place, and people who remind us that we are created loving, caring beings here to shed light into dark places. .
Amazing historical photo’s Mira.. Yes some are harrowing, but these serve us never to forget those who suffered and whom are still suffering in war zones today..
