Owned by a single family since 1967 and stored in a dry Texas garage for over 40 years, this 1957 Porsche 356 A 1600 Speedster is ripe for restoration. It’s almost entirely original, including the matching-numbers 1,582 cc OHV four-cylinder engine and four-speed, fully synchronized manual transmission. The fiberglass hardtop was added early in the car’s life, giving it a highly-desired option, and the car comes with its original bumpers, Speedster trim pieces, and convertible top and frame assembly.
Love the old Porsche
It’s the body that makes it
We have a Chesil speedster or an outlaw as some say, a replica. Ny husband calls it the plastic Porsche and never pretends its anything other. Our car is now a classic as it was built 1971. We would have to have huge amounts of money for the one in your post which is beautiful obviously. It looks superb. We drive across europe in ours, that you wouldn’t dare do in an authentic one. But we are loving every minute of our look alikee. But your post is wonderful as is the car. Thank you for putting it here. 😇
Wow! She’s a beaut
Nostalgia. My aunt had one when I was a child…
