Houseplants are awesome indoor air cleaners, but some of them are more effective than others at filtering out pollutants and toxic chemicals in the air. This is very important, especially with all the toxic fabrics, rugs, curtains that we live with everyday in our homes.

I didn’t know the flowering plant my friend sent me last August was called a peace lily. I put it outside and bring it in on alternate days. So far it is doing beautifully, and now I know it is also cleaning the air of toxins for me. Thank you for this helpful information.

What happens If you don’t have a green thumb. Every plant I get drops dead even if I look at it. I have one plant that I have my grand daughter water and take care of and one of those air plants. I would love some more plants.
