EUROPA is a visual project by the French photographer and director Yannis Mouhoun, across Europe and its climatic, geographic, cultural, economic and simply visual differences. A journey of 40 days and 15,000 kilometers that lead the artist from Strasbourg to Paris, as a lap, passing by Berlin, Copenhagen, Ireland, Madrid, Lisbon, Bonassola in Italy and finally Iceland before the capital of France.
In other words, a great occasion for Mouhoun to wander this geographic territory and this political creation that is omnipresent in our minds and nevertheless constituted of some unknown places that are within easy reach.

Thank you for taking me on a beautiful virtual trip to some countries that I probably will never visit in reality. I scrolled slowly to drink in the magnificent vistas and breath taking views.
I wanted to jump on the tram in Lisbon to see what was round the bend and walk the cobble stone road. I want to see what type of shops are hidden beyond the photo. To meet the people and experience the lifestyle of their every day life.
Sit on a bench in the park in Madrid with a picnic lunch of wine and cheese and drink in the beauty.
Iceland, I am not a cold weather person but the magnificence may be worth it. I would just have to bundle up.
All will be etched in my memory forever. When you are a mind traveler the task is simple and lasting. :o)
I agree the photo of Lisbon makes it feel so real! Iceland I’ll probably never visit, but you can find fantastic nature most places in the world 🙂
