Surprising Viking ‘Lost’ Village in Iceland

A Vikings village is lost near of the Icelandic town of Höfn. It is in fact a replica that was built in 2010 as a set for a movie that was never shot. It is still there. German photographer based in Hamburg, Jan Erik Waider got the privilege to find this place and shot it for our pleasure. A flashback in the past.

  1. How strange that they left it there. What a landscape…the term “starkly beautiful” comes to mind. I hope i get to visit this part of the world ( amongst others!) some day…
