Inventive Installations Playing with Colors and Shades

Based in Sydney, the artist Nike Savvas imagines and designs several types of installations that mix up suspended items and weaving. The clear goal is to reproduce the effect of painting in 3D through combinations of colors.

Our Colour

Liz West creates a multi-coloured rainbow space for Bristol Biennial. Known for her vibrant light installations, the artist filled an empty office block with gel-filtered, fluorescent shades, from radiant red to nostalgic violet. West wanted to build a sensory experience that will put human perception in focus.

Uncertain Journey: A Network of Tangled Red Yarn on Skeletal Boats

For her latest installation at Blain|Southern in Berlin, artist Chiharu Shiota has constructed a twisted network of tangled red yarn that rises from a collection of skeletal boats.

Female Portrait Paintings

Krisztiàn Tejfel is a Hungarian painter and photographer. He mostly paints women’s portrait, often leaving his creations with the look of a “work unfinished”. He is educated in traditional painting and began exploring digital painting a few years ago. His female portraits are characterised by their melancholic look with a pinch of surrealism.
