The paternoster is kind of elevator that consist of a chain of open compartments that move up and down continuously through the vertical shaft of a building in a loop and without stopping. A Scenic Walkway Along a River in Portugal
Winding their way through the scenic landscape along the Paiva river in Portugal, the ‘Paiva Walkways‘ were recently completed for explorations of the surroundings at close range.
In a collaboration between the Arouca Municipality and engineer company Trimetrica, the 8km-long route was built to give visitors the chance to experience local natural beauty, including cliffs and waterfalls, as well as offering panoramic views of the valley. Continue reading
