Do Walking Palm Trees Really Walk?

A recently published article on BBC’s website mentions a certain palm tree that has allegedly developed a rather unique ability unbecoming of a plant — the ability to walk.

The 26 Foot Moving Statues That Play Out a Tragic Love Story

Normally statues stay where they are put and do not move, but not these two. Sculptor Tamara Kvesitadze made these two 26 foot statues that move once a day,  acting out a tragic love story.

Located in the seaside city of Batumi, Georgia, the two figures represent a Muslim boy, Ali, and a Georgian princess, Nino, from a famous 1937 novel by Azerbaijani author Kurban Said.
